Background

I was born and raised in New Mexico, spending time between Raton and Rio Rancho. I attended the University of New Mexico and graduated with my B.A. in Psychology in 2011. I graduated from William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in 2014. During my time at UNLV I had many externships which allowed me to gain tremendous experience while in law school. I tried my first case in the United States District Court for the District of Nevada while I was a law student. Shortly after graduating from law school my husband received orders to Kirtland and I was able to return home.

I have had a variety of legal experiences that have led to extensive trial and courtroom experience. I began my career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Second Judicial District (Bernalillo), prosecuting misdemeanor crimes. I also have experience in municipal liabilities, civil rights, catastrophic personal injury, complex civil litigation, trucking and transportation, workers compensation, general litigation, and family law matters, including kinship guardianship matters, divorce, and custody.

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, reading, being outdoors, and cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs.
