I was born and raised in Montreal, Québec, Canada, and I speak both French and Spanish fluently. I attended the University of California in San Diego for my undergraduate degree, where I obtained a B.A. in Psychology.

Throughout my undergraduate studies and before attending law school, I worked as a poker dealer and supervisor at a local casino.

I completed my law degree at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where I graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, I received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Litigation (a hybrid class combining both civil procedure and torts), in Criminal Writing (a hybrid class combining criminal law and legal writing), and in Family & Child Justice Clinic for my work with the UNM Medical-Legal alliance.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our three children, and our two dogs.
