Background
I was raised in the Midwest and moved to Albuquerque specifically to attend law school and begin a second career as an attorney in New Mexico. I entered the legal field with an extensive background in human resources and training and development in the social services field.
While in law school, I had the privilege of serving both as President of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) and Vice President of the Association of Public Interest Lawyers (APIL). I received the ALI-CLE Award for scholarship and leadership sponsored by the American Law Institute and the American Bar Association. I was also involved in the Marshall Brennan program providing civic education to high school students and preparing them for moot court competition.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful state of New Mexico, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends.
