Background

I’m originally from North Carolina and moved out West for law school. While attending law school at the University of Colorado, Boulder, I was able to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Colorado Natural Resources, Energy & Environmental Law Review. After graduation, I moved to Albuquerque where I have been able to develop a greater appreciation for New Mexico’s natural scenery, history, and culture. I have also been able to work as the Staff Attorney for the Southwest Women’s Law Center and as an Assistant City Attorney in the City of Albuquerque’s labor and employment division.

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping, skiing, and watching hockey.
