Background

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. Going to law school had always been a goal and in 2020 I began a second career as an attorney in my home state. I entered the legal field with extensive experience in the financial industry and as a contractor with Department of Energy managing the project management office for the National Training Center.

I attended the University of New Mexico and graduated with an M.B.A., focusing on policy and planning, in 2017.  I also graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2020. While in law school, I clerked at various firms, including the City of Albuquerque, gaining a variety of knowledge and experience. I also received the Tort Scholar Award for my knowledge and work with the first year Torts class.

Prior to joining Butt Thornton & Baehr, I was employed by a well-respected insurance defense firm where I specialized in trucking and transportation, premise liability, and construction defect litigation.

Outside of the office, I love to cook, spend time with my family, and hike with my puppy Maverick.
