Background
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I attended Texas State University where I graduated summa cum laude receiving a B.A. in Communication Studies. While at Texas State, I was a Residential Assistant and member of the Bobcat Marching Band Drumline.
I went on to complete my Juris Doctorate at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. During law school, I participated as a student associate in the Van Sickle Family Law Clinic and the SMU Civil/Consumer Clinic. During the summers while in law school, I worked at Butt Thornton & Baehr PC as a law clerk and am excited to return to the Land of Enchantment.
I have a diverse background and an unwavering commitment to excellence. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, yoga, traveling, and being a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
