Background

Renee Mascareñas is a native New Mexican, born in Albuquerque. She was raised in southern California until her junior year of high school when her family returned to New Mexico. Ms. Mascareñas graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  Ms. Mascarenas received her Juris Doctor from the Phoenix School of Law in 2012 where she was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta serving as the Clerk for her chapter.

Before transitioning into civil litigation, Ms. Mascareñas was an Assistant District Attorney for the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony crimes.  Ms. Mascareñas has several years of civil litigation defense experience in the areas of catastrophic personal injury, medical negligence and malpractice, insurance coverage issues, complex civil litigation, construction litigation, professional liability, trucking and transportation, and general litigation.

Outside of the office, Ms. Mascarenas loves creating the objects she sees in her mind’s eye whether through wood working, welding, sewing or some combination thereof.  Together with her husband, they enjoy cooking good food to share with family and friends.
