Background

I am a proud Burqueño and will always consider New Mexico home. I graduated from The University of New Mexico in 2018 with a B.B.A. in Organizational Leadership and with a designation from the Honors College. While studying for my undergraduate degree, I was hired at a boutique personal injury firm to perform administrative functions. I was quickly enamored with the practice of law and began my studies at the University of New Mexico School of Law after obtaining my undergraduate degree. During law school, I continued to explore civil litigation through coursework and clerkships. I also obtained a Beginning Mediation Certification and Family Mediation Certification and was awarded the Judge Oliver Seth Award for my work in Alternative Dispute Resolution. I graduated Cum Laude in 2021.

Prior to joining BTB, I represented plaintiffs in a variety of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, contractual disputes, and probate contests. I also assisted clients in estate planning. I was named “Top 40 Under 40” by the National Trial Lawyers in 2023 for my work in civil litigation. I am also a board member of the New Mexico Women’s Bar Association and serve on the Trial Practice Section of the New Mexico State Bar. As a civil litigator, I am dedicated to advocating for plaintiffs and defendants alike.

Like many of my colleagues, you can find me enjoying the beautiful New Mexico outdoors when I’m not in the office (though, unlike many of my colleagues, you will not find me running in them). I also enjoy weight training, baking, and spending time with my family.
